Welcome to the American High School Music Department, home of the American Eagles Marching Band, Concert Band, Symphonic Band, Jazz Ensemble, Beginning Choir, Choir 2, Guitar I, and Guitar II. Other performing groups include Chamber Ensembles, Pep Band, Winter Percussion (est. 2003), Winter Guard (est. 2004), and Winter Drum Major (2009). Read on for the latest information.

Recent Information
Congratulations to the Disneyland Band for their Superior performance at the Disneyland Music in the Parks Festival!
Congratulations to the Band for their 1st place performance at the Fremont July 4 Parade!
Newark Results: 1st Place Baton, 2nd Place Drum Major, 3rd Place Band, 3rd Place Flag Team
Feste Del Mar Results: 1st Place Drum Major in Parade competition, 2nd place Percussion in parade, and 3rd place band in parade.
In Field Show competition, 1st Place Field Conductor, 1st Place band, 3rd place Color Guard.
Congratulations to the Band & Auxiliary for their 2nd place performances at the Vintage Reserve Band Review parade. The band also placed 3rd in field competition.
Congratulations to the Symphonic Band for their 2nd place performances at the Fairfield Tournament of Champions. The percussion placed 5th in Parade competition, the band placed 3rd in field competition, and the field conductor placed 4th in field competition.
Congratulations to the Winter Guard for their 1st place finish at the San Mateo Winter Competition. Congratulations to the Winter Percussion for their 2nd place finish at the San Mateo Winter Competition.
Congratulations to the Winter Guard for their 2nd place finish at the Livermore & Granada Winter Competitions. Congratulations to the Winter Percussion for their 4th place finish at the Livermore Winter Competition.
Congratulations to the Winter Guard for their 1st place finish at the Foothill Winter Show. Congratulations to the Winter Percussion for their 3rd place finish at the Foothill Winter Show.
Congratulations to the Symphonic Band for their Unanimous Superior Rating at the CMEA Band Festival. Congratulations to the Concert Band for their Excellent Rating.
